Advocacy and Community Concerns

The Political Action Committee

Works to ensure voter empowerment, including election protection. We also partner with local and national civic organizations on pertinent issues of which police conduct in policing communities of color is of paramount importance. The over sentencing of minorities by the judicial system is also of major concern and is addressed by this.

The Religious Affairs Committee

Promotes moral and ethical support of the civil rights struggle by engaging the religious community and all interested parties to move the agenda forward.

The Veterans Affairs Committee

Assists in securing fairness to minority veterans from programs administered by government agencies both federal and local.

The LGBT Committee

Works to aid in educating the community to bring awareness and work toward resolution of issues concerning the LGBT people of color.
