Victoria Thuy Vi McDowell, 15 yrs old, Sings Negro National Anthem for 2019 Freedom and Friendship

Victoria Thuy Vi McDowell, 15 yrs old, honor roll student, sings in 5 Languages – she plays the piano and also the violin in her high school’s Orchestra and has a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She’s known as the “Voice of San Jose, Jr.” for singing the National Anthem at San Jose City Hall and many Non-Profits and community events.

In 2014 she recorded two Vietnamese CD’s, in 2015 she won best inspirational vocals on VSTAR Kids and signed a one yr contract with Paris By Night Production, in 2016 she traveled to Naples, Italy to perform at Piazza del Plebiscito plaza for a PBS.

In 2017 and 2018, Victoria won the Gold Star for the Northern California NAACP A-S competition for Contemporary and Classical Voice and performed at the NAACP National awards program for Mayor Willie Brown, who was introduced by President Bill Clinton in San Antonio Texas. In 2018 Victoria won first place in the South Bay Teen Idols competition and in 2019, she was crowned Miss Teen Vietnam USA.
